Making wine is somewhat different from making other things like a lamp or tools, where you mainly have to stick to precision. The making of wine is influenced by almost innumerable factors . Each of them has an important role to the final product: the terroir, the sky, humidity, dryness, fog, snow - and last, but not least the winemakers profond experience as well as his knowledge of appropriate techniques. Many qualities make a good wine: Longtime experience in agina wines, patience and stamina to overcome setbacks and errors, wisdom, reflection and the steady will to learrn and to improve - things that have been respected by the Bergamo family since over 50 years. That's why our motto is: ![]() humanae artis natura magistra. This latin watchword means that nature does not only exist as well as it is the teacher of all human art. Thereby the latin word ars in total embraces intuition and the ability to invent - indispensable qualities necessary to true creation. Since its beginning of our wineyard in front of the friulan mountains we have always been taking decision to combine latest technology with biological winegrowing. That's why our wines have typical friulan names as Neri di Lune, Vivôr, Jevade, Sclavòn, Gardisàne, Ajarin, Levantin, Flôr di Clap The wines of Ca'Selva do not pretend to be something different than that what they really are. They don't deny their nature. Au contraire.
